A mound installation field training day was held in Saskatoon on August 26. Participants were taken through the process of soils identification in the pit, following which the soils treatment area of mound system was built by the group. Dale McLure led the class through the mound installation, while Larry Link demonstrated various system components used in the construction phase, including the difference in dispersal rates based on the pump chosen for the system.

The mound installation took place at the new home site of association member Adrienne French.
